PC Elwood and Cruz come to Hextable Primary School!

What a fabulous finish to our book “What the Ladybird Heard” 🐞 🐮 👮‍♀️

YR have been learning all about the people who help us after we read about the police catching ‘Lanky Len & Hefty Hugh’ in our story.

Today we had a visit from PC Elwood and his friends, along with their very important police dogs. We learned all about how the dogs help the police and watched some of their training.

Cruz the dog searched for the ‘Fine Prize Cow’ and found him and we also watched him capture Lanky Len. The children were so well behaved and asked some amazing questions. 👮‍♀️🐕
